Where is Adventure Bound Tall Pines located?
Adventure Bound Tall Pines is located at 49 Beal Road, Elmer, NJ 08318, in Salem County in southern New Jersey. We are nestled in the New Jersey Pine Barrens region, about an hour south of Philadelphia and 45 minutes from the Jersey Shore beaches. Our location offers a peaceful, wooded setting that is easy to reach from major cities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
What types of accommodations are available?
Tall Pines offers six types of rental accommodations plus campsites. Our Deluxe Cabins sleep 6 with a queen bed, queen futon, and twin bunk. Lodge Cabins sleep 8 with a queen bed, two full beds in a carpeted loft, a futon, and a wood-burning fireplace. Premium RV Rentals sleep 6, and Prime RV Rentals sleep 4. Large Efficiency Cabins sleep 4 with a cottage-size kitchen. Rustic Cabins sleep 4 with two double beds. We also have several campsite types including premium full hookup, water/electric/sewer/cable, water/electric/cable, and tent sites.
What amenities does Tall Pines offer?
Tall Pines features a splash park, swimming pool, inflatable water slides, the Adventure Bound Express Train, playgrounds, mini-golf, a jump pad, GaGa ball, golf cart rentals, a general store, laundry facilities, a dump station, and modern bathhouses with showers. We also offer pedal carts and other outdoor recreation activities throughout the season.
What is the splash park?
Our splash park is one of the most popular attractions at Tall Pines. It features interactive water play elements including spray features, water jets, and splash zones that are perfect for kids of all ages. Combined with our swimming pool and inflatable water slides, we offer three distinct water attractions for cooling off during the summer.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
For campsites, check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 1:00 PM. For cabins and RV rentals, check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. The minimum check-in age is 21 years old. For late arrival arrangements, please contact our reservation department at 856-451-7479.
Are pets allowed at Tall Pines?
Yes, Tall Pines is a pet-friendly campground. Friendly pets that are current with their vaccinations are welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. We ask that all pet owners clean up after their pets to keep the campground clean and enjoyable for everyone.
What makes the Lodge Cabins special?
Our Lodge Cabins are unique to Tall Pines and are our most spacious accommodation. They sleep up to 8 guests and feature a wood-burning fireplace, a carpeted loft accessed by a staircase with two full-size mattresses, a queen bed, a futon, a full bathroom and kitchen, a screen porch, and ceiling fans. They are a favorite for families wanting a true cabin-in-the-woods experience.
How much does it cost to camp at Tall Pines?
Rates at Tall Pines start at $95 per night for tent camping. Rates vary by site type, accommodation, season, and length of stay. Premium full hookup sites, cabin rentals, and RV rentals are available at different price points. Visit our online booking system for current rates and availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
Payment is due in full at the time of reservation. If you cancel 30 or more days before arrival, you receive a cash refund less a $25 cancellation fee, or a full refund as resort credit. Cancellations by 6 PM at least 14 days before arrival receive resort credit. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival are forfeited. No credits or refunds are given due to weather.
Do you have themed events?
Yes! Tall Pines hosts themed weekends and special events throughout the camping season. Our Halloween Weekends are especially popular with four weekends of costume contests, trick-or-treating, haunted trails, spooky hayrides, pumpkin decorating, and site decorating contests. We also host wet and wild weekends, live entertainment, and other family activities. Check our calendar for the full schedule.
What is the Adventure Bound Express Train?
The Adventure Bound Express Train is a fun ride around the campground that kids and families love. It is one of the unique attractions at Tall Pines that sets us apart from other campgrounds in the region. The train runs during the camping season and is included with your stay.
Is firewood available?
Yes, dry firewood is available for purchase at the campground. New Jersey law prohibits bringing out-of-state firewood into the park. Only local firewood may be brought in to help protect our forests from invasive species.
Do you offer seasonal camping?
Yes, Tall Pines offers seasonal camping opportunities. Seasonal campers enjoy the convenience of leaving their RV on-site for the entire camping season with access to all resort amenities. Contact us or visit our seasonal camping page for availability and rates.
Do you offer winter RV storage?
Yes, we offer affordable winter RV storage starting at $300 for the entire off-season. The storage period runs from the day after our season ends to the day before the next season begins. Insurance coverage is required during the storage period.
Do you offer military or senior discounts?
Yes! Military personnel and seniors (65+) receive 15% off campsites and rental accommodations. Just ask for our military or senior discount when booking. It's our way of saying thank you for your service and honoring our senior guests.
